-worked as a general groundskeeper for Binswanger Glass, Days Inn, and Immanuel Baptist Church, respectively, while in High School
-started a small lawn maintenance company with some friends called Lawn Dogs in last year of High School
-worked for several lawn maintenance firms including Growing Concerns
-got a scholarship to attend the U of A in Fayetteville but quit soon after to move to North Carolina
-for 5 years worked as a laborer and certified Spray Tech, then was promoted to Foreman for the Landscape Department under landscape architect/superintendent Rick Johnson at Landfall Country Club and Golf Course in Wilmington, N.C.
-moved back to Little Rock, worked as a Nurseryman, laborer, and designer at Cantrell Gardens for 6 years
-worked as head designer and laborer for friend Scott Bashams company, West Little Rock Landscape, for 2 years
-traveled to and worked in Ballydehob, Ireland for 2 weeks on a privately owned sustainable development farm
-started Land Dog Horticulture in 2011
